4rd TRAINING SCHOOL MODENERLANDS

SUSTAINABILITY AND RESILIENCE ASSESSMENT OF FLOATING ENERGY ISLANDS

Description

This training program aims to equip early-stage researchers, PhD students, policymakers, industry leaders, and community development specialists with the skills needed to advance innovative sustainable energy systems. By combining expertise in modular artificial islands, sustainable energy resource assessment, and network energy storage and resilience, the program fosters the development of new professional roles in sustainable energy technology, strategic planning, and transition management. During the training school, there will be lectures on various topics, such as offshore energy resources, offshore structural resilience, risk analysis, life cycle assessment and grid integration and energy storage of renewables. The training school will also include workshop sessions, promoting innovative thinking, formulated in a practice-oriented modulation, and aimed at shaping processes of strategic dialogue, co-evolution and co-creation.
