Announcement and Call for Contributions from Working Group Members
The COST Action MODENERLANDS – Modular Energy Islands for Sustainability and Resilience aims at merging and systematizing the efforts of the Research and Development groups working on Sustainable Energy and the related technologies, in particular wind, solar and wave energy, for the consideration of Energy Islands in the plans, design, and development of future infrastructures of renewable energy in Europe.
The Strategic Workshop planned for the third year of the Action will take place in the Ruhr University Bochum, Germany on the 2nd and 3rd September 2024. This second workshop aims to constitute a privileged forum to promote interaction and sharing of recent scientific and technical experience within COST Action members, and to allow for the technical discussions within the thematic of Energy Islands. Additionally, invited speakers from industry and research centres will bring into discussion new advancements in this field.
The program will cover two full days with plenary lectures from invited speakers and selected presentations from the WG members of the COST Action.
Members of the Working Groups were therefore invited to send a 2-pages abstract in line with the topics addressed by the Working Groups. Registration and submission of abstracts should be done through the MODENERLANDS webpage below. All accepted abstracts will be included in a Book of Abstracts to be published. The deadline for submission was the 31st May 2024.
